![]() This week I've learned all about the wonderful world of App Development. And while I definitely am not a programmer, I can appreciate the hoops and hurdles it takes to get your app live on any available digital market. While working with my client, we used a do - it - yourself app design site called Conduit. This is a pretty good platform for people who may not want to pay for programming or want something simple for their business. So far so good, we've had a few bumps along the way (Thank you Apple Store) but we have accomplished providing my client, and their clients with a classy, streamlined app that will deliver content accordingly.

A client whom I've been contract to do ongoing work with wanted to start out with re-designing his logo for his company. After the initial meeting, I was in charge of coming up with some ideas of where to take the logo. The first image is the starting point, where the clients business is musically and artistically related, but he also wanted a "pirate theme" incorporated. After fearing the skull might be too intense, we steered towards a old style mic. Playing with different ideas to use the mic, and skull together. As you can see, with each revision we were able to get closer and closer to the the near final logo. The client enjoyed the idea of a mic, with the subtle shape of the skull. We are close to finishing off this logo, all that remains is some kick ass typography!
